Artist: Gary Allan
Gary Allan (December 5, 1967) is a country singer originally from Long Beach, California.

Albums Currently Released:
“Used Heart For Sale”,
“It Would Be You”,
“Smoke Rings In The Dark”,
“Alright Guy”,
“See If I Care”,
“Tough All Over” and
“Living Hard”.

Interested in country music from a young age, Allan was influenced by the stars of the Bakersfield scene, above all Buck Owens and Merle Haggard.

At age twenty, Allan founded his own band. In 1996, Allan signed a record contract with Decca Records, who released his first album. That album, Used Heart For Sale, included Allan’s first Billboard Top 20 hit, “Her Man.” In 2001, Allan’s album Alright Guy contained his very first Billboard #1, “Man to Man.”

Allan’s third wife, Angela Herzberg, shot and killed herself around 1 am on October 25, 2004 in the Hendersonville, Tennessee home. She had prior depressive episodes, and her suicide had a strong influence on his next album “Tough All Over”.
